8th October - Koh Samui to Bangkok
Shaun is almost back to normal and feels ready to fly thank god. We checked out at 12.30 and went for a walk along the strip and killed some time in a coffee shop getting some net to book a hotel for 2 nights in Bangkok and research somewhere to go in our spare 2 weeks. We have decided not to go to Koh Phangan as we have done the full moon a handful of times before and we were supposed to be meeting Grimo and Pam there but we have all agreed to bail and meet up in Bali instead! Woo hoo!! New country and old friends, so excited!!
We had some lunch and killed some time before getting picked up at 6pm by a random blacked out jeep! We had an hour and a half flight on a turbo prop plane and arrived in Bangkok at 9pm. Usual story, got a taxi to Khao San and checked into D&D and got some sleep.

We chilled out today as we have to be up early hours for our flight to KL. We wondered around the city, Shaun got a haircut and chilled for the rest of the day and in the evening went to have our last chicken noodle soup ... but she wasn't there!! OMG for all the years we have been coming to Bangkok the very last time our noodle soup lady wasn't there! We settled for a cafe along the strip but it just wasn't the same!
